From Pastor El
Thoughts for this week...
What makes people frustrated? Usually when things are not happening as expected we are frustrated. When people are not doing what we expected, we are frustrated. Yes, frustrations are related to the negative things and experiences in life. But what if things are happening as we expected, as we desired, as we planned, as we intended it to happen, can they eradicate frustrations? Solomon had it all working his ways, having his desires met yet made a startling declaration saying, "in spite of all of these; take it from me it is just chasing after the wind. It is meaningless." For the presence of frustrations is not the absence of everything but the absence of God, and the absence of frustrations is not the presence of everything but the presence of God! .
The Lord is good and His mercies never come to an end.
Thanks and God Bless, P. El
